Move over "American Idol."

Some Texoma seniors vied for the title of best singer today.

Nineteen seniors belted out different tunes today at the Red Door Senior Center in Wichita Falls.

From country to soft rock, these seniors gave it their all to serenade the judges, including our own Gwyn Bevel, into making them the next senior idol.

And while some had just started to sing publicly, others say they've done it for years and have come up with their own style, like last year's winner.

"I sing a lot like Willie Nelson and I like most... all songs, really. I'm just trying to win my way back into the karaoke Senior Idol, " says Ed Cantrell, 2011 Senior Idol winner.

Unfortunately, Ed Cantrell was not able to hold on to the title.

That honor went to Bob Woods, who's version of "Devil Woman" won him the golden Senior Idol microphone, a gift card and a giant cake.
