Smart Woman: What Your Hands Say about Your Health

Research out of the University of Alberta in Canada has shown a ring finger significantly longer than the index points to higher prenatal testosterone levels, which means you have greater mental toughness and you’re more likely to be athletic.

(Ivanhoe Newswire) – Research out of the University of Alberta in Canada has shown a ring finger significantly longer than the index points to higher prenatal testosterone levels, which means you have greater mental toughness and you’re more likely to be athletic.

It’s all determined by your finger quotient: take the length of your index finger, and put it over the length of your ring finger. If your finger quotient is less than one, it can point to more aggression, improved athletic ability, and a riskier personality. A quotient greater than one can mean healthier knees, a higher risk of oral cancer, and a lower risk of prostate cancer.

Your finger quotient isn't a factor in diagnosing yet. But researchers have found that the hormone imbalance in the womb responsible for your quotient can affect you for life.
