A special group of kids will be showing their skills in the saddle Saturday.

Whispers of Hope House Farm, which provides therapeutic ridding for children with mental disabilities free of charge, is hosting the Special Olympics and you can watch the competition.

Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., the competition will be underway at Whispers of Hope at 3545 Parkhill Road.

They'll be battling for a spot in the state competition, which takes place next month.

Snacks will be available at the concession stand.

Whispers of Hope says the event will be a great way for you to see what they do and also to see their new barn which will be a safe place for the children to feed the horses in.
