Java giant Starbucks is making a political push on the fiscal cliff.
Chief Executive Howard Schultz is urging baristas in Starbucks' roughly 120 Washington-area shops to write "come together" on customers' cups served today and tomorrow.
Schultz told employees in a letter that "we all have a responsibility to send our elected officials a respectful but potent message, urging them to come together to find common "ground."
The CEO is one of a growing list of high-powered business leaders, politicians and financial experts in endorsing the campaign to fix the debt, a well-funded nonpartisan group that is leaning on lawmakers to put the United States' financial house in order.
