Dozens of students became elves Thursday afternoon to provide hundreds of children in need with Christmas presents.
Wichita Christian elementary students loaded $2,400 worth of toys on a fire truck.
But if you thinks students got cash for the toys by asking their parents, think again.
"We did actual chores and got money from doing the chores. I cleaned my room. I swept and I helped around the house," says 3rd Grader Megan Adams.
School officials say the kindergarten class raised the most money and got to pick out all the toys.
Firefighters say they'll help supply about 2,500 kids with Christmas presents through this year's Operation Santa Claus program.
