Experts say living in a sunny state is good for a lot of things that may make you sick. It helps with depression, boosts your immune system ...and now, it could offer protection from pancreatic cancer. Researchers in Australia looked at data collected from about one thousand adults who'd been asked about their skin type and birth location. People born in areas with the highest uv exposure had a nearly 25% lower risk for pancreatic cancer. People who have sun-sensitive skin and those who had skin cancer in the past, also had a lower risk for the disease.
