Another celebration of life Sunday in Texoma as one woman celebrates quite the milestone. Texoma's own  Ruth Faye Kennedy is now 100 years young. Kennedy celebrated the century mark with friends and family Sunday in Holliday.
Faye could hardly wait one more note before digging in to her birthday cake. Now to put this in perspective in her lifetime, not only has Faye seen 18 presidents get elected, the year she was born a gallon of gas cost just 7 cents, a pound of steak was 23 cents, and the average house hold income was just over a thousand dollars a year.
"For her to be 100 it's a true celebration of life in general. She has outlived a lot of her realatives and she continues to hang in there," said her son Joe Kennedy.
Kennedy is a retired nurse and a cancer survivor...
She says the secret to her long life is living it to the fullest and enjoying every moment of it.
