The third suspect in a home invasion robbery and assault back in April, and a shooting in which three people were shot in March, has finally been arrested and booked.

Shaquille Alexander, 20, has three aggravated assault charges and one aggravated robbery charge with a total bond of $1 million dollars. He is the third of three men charged in the robbery at Sun Valley Apartments in April.

Markalius Lewis, 21, and and 20-year-old Benjamin Teal are also charged.

Police say the men, two armed with handguns, forced their way into an apartment at Sun Valley Apartments and threatened to kill the people there if they did not reveal the location of a black box holding drugs, then beat some of them with guns before leaving with TV's and other electronics.

Police say one person was forced to go to another location to retrieve the box.

Alexander is also charged with a shooting in March in the parking lot of a nightclub on Sheppard Access. One woman was shot in the leg, a man was shot in the arm and a bouncer at the club was shot in the leg.

Police received tips to Crime Stoppers and from informants pointing to Alexander. Witnesses said a fight broke out inside the club, and bouncers moved everyone outside, where gunshots were fired.
