Three people are facing hefty theft charges after police say they stole more than a thousand dollars worth of electronics from a hotel room.

According to the arrest affidavit, police were called to the Red Roof Inn on Central Freeway where a female said her iPhone 5, a bag of 13 DVDs, and three Playstation 2 video games were stolen by a man, and two others who had come over to fix her cable. She says they then took off in a tan Dodge Ram.

The woman told police she was tracking her stolen phone with a 'find your phone' app. Police, then, tracked the phone to a gas station on Iowa Park Road. There, police located the Dodge Ram and the driver -- 36-year-old Paul Hicks inside of the gas station.

After he gave police permission to search the truck, officers say they found all of the stolen items inside the vehicle. Also inside of the truck were the two other people who were allegedly involved, 39-year-old Brandi Calloway and 28-year-old Brian Hay.

All three are now charged with engaging in organized criminal activity/theft with bonds at 25,000 dollars each.
