With the 100 year anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic just 11 days away folks who are seeking a piece of the of the ill-fated
voyage will soon get their chance.
Auctioneers are putting at least 180 items up for bid. They are items such as a deck chair that was fished out of the Ocean soon
after the ship went down.
That chair is expected to bring in six figures and so are things like jewelry and letters from the famous and not-so-famous passengers
who sent home messages about the ship and their journey.
Bobby Livingston from RR Auctions had this to say, "You learn about the first class passengers, you learn about captain smith and the first officer murdoch, you learn about the tragedy and the survival and
you also learn about what was happening in 1912 when the news broke."
The auction goes live April 19th and you can view items at www.RRAuction.com.
