Wichita Falls, TX. - Great deals and a variety of arts and crafts were on display at the MPEC Saturday for the first ever "Falls Gift and Trade Show."

The event featured more than twenty vendors selling homemade items, make-up and accessories.

It was organized by a group of Air Force wives from Sheppard.

Organizers say many Air Force wives need a second income but it's hard to get a steady job because they move around a lot, so many of them have work- from- home businesses.

"It lets all the new spouses that come in build a local market for their business and then in turn we are able to help other businesses like the civilians that joined us as well, we help them promote theirs and build up the community around us," says Air Force wife and Little Bean Designs Owner Jenny Theuerkauf.

If you missed the show you can find all the vendors on their Facebook page.
