Traffic Stop in Electra Leads Police to Drugs Being Transported

Justin Williams is charged with manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance.

Electra police say a traffic stop leads them to find a large amount of several different types of drugs.

Thirty-one year-old Justin Williams is charged for manufacture or delivery and possession of the drugs.

According to an arrest affidavit, an police officer saw Williams' vehicle speeding down highway 287 in Electra and stopped the SUV.

The officer says he found a large bag of an unknown substance behind the driver's seat and says Williams told him the bag was full of mushrooms that he was delivering to a friend from New York whom he was going to meet in Florida.

The affidavit states nearly 150 grams of mushrooms were found in the car along with LSD and two different types of pills.

Williams has bonded out of the Wichita County Jail.
