Wichita Falls, TX. -- Live music, food and games are all part of the fun at the Red River Ice House Sunday.
The business teamed up with local bands and radio stations to raise money for the American Red Cross.
"We just want to make sure that if that happens in Wichita Falls that we are ready," says Kim Hunter with local band Barefoot Dixie.
Local band Barefoot Dixie organized the event, hoping to give back to an organization they feel has given so much to the community.
"The American Red Cross is helping someone every second of every day and without them a lot of people wouldn't have homes or food or shelter," says Hunter.
Organizers hope raffles and a silent auction will bring in some money, as well as kids paying to jump in the bounce house or get their face painted.
Katrina Farmer with the Red Cross says the money is coming at the perfect time.
"It's expensive, you know we've seen all these disasters that have happened recently, we want to be able to have money to pay for the services that people need," says Farmer.
At first count The American Red Cross raised over $2,000.
