UPDATED: 2 Longhorn Players Accused of Sexual Assault

Just one day before the team is to play in the Alamo Bowl, two University of Texas football players have been implicated in a sexual assault case.

Former Graham High School football standout and Texas Longhorns quarterback Case McCoy is among two players accused of sexual assault early this morning.

The alleged incident happened early this morning in San Antonio, and investigators believe may have involved McCoy and teammate, Jordan Hicks before tomorrow's Alamo Bowl against Oregon State.

San Antonio police say officers were sent to a hotel to interview the woman who made the accusation against the players. They say the 21-year-old had bruises on her knee and arm and was later taken to a hospital.

At a news conference today, Longhorns Coach Mack Brown said the two players broke team rules and will be sent home. No charges have been filed in this case as of yet.
