Officials asking residents to conserve water today
Archer City officials are urging citizens to conserve water due to a water leak and transmission difficulties. Stay with KFDX-3 News for the latest developments.

UPDATE:

The water lines in Archer City are repaired and officials say residents can resume normal consumption. Around nine this morning Archer City officials were notified of a water leak and transmission difficulties. The good news is that officials say there is no  need to boil water. City manager George Huffman expects to be at full capacity in the water tower by tomorrow.
