The Wichita Adult Literacy Council is currently looking for gently used books to incorporate in the annual book fair fundraiser in March.
The Council will accept any book donations, but are in specific need of Children's books and literature.
Westerns, Cookbooks, Romance, and Best-sellers are a few more genres they can always use more of as well.
Donations may be made by dropping books at the WALC offices which are located at 4309 Jacksboro Hwy suite 105 (in the Galaxy Center Building)
Deadline for donations is February 20, 2014.
Office hours are 9 AM-3 PM Monday through Thursday.
Book Fair Dates:
Sneak Preview ($5 Entry Fee): Thursday March 6th 5 PM – 8 PM
Free Admission: Friday March 7th 9 AM – 8 PM
Saturday March 8th 9 AM – 8 PM
The Sale will be held at MSU at the Sikes Lake Center.
Funds are used to provide literacy instruction at no cost to low-level adult readers.
