Water Bottle Sales Rise as Water Reuse Pipeline is Approved

Now that the water reuse pipeline is now approved in Wichita Falls and will begin being used in a few weeks, people are hitting the stores and stocking up on water bottles.
The water reuse pipeline has been approved and will be used in Wichita Falls starting in a few weeks, and this has caused water bottle sales to sky rocket.

The Walmart off of Central Highway says their water bottle sales have been up twenty-five percent over the past three weeks.

The store has also been seeing an increase in sales of water jug dispensers, which the store says they haven't sold much of in the past.

Store managers say they have already started to order even more water as they anticipate sales to sky rocket even more in the coming weeks.

"We've made a concerted effort to order and purchase more water for the community, knowing that there's probably going to be a need for it," Walmart manager Sean Biner says.

Biner says he's noticed in increase in how many cases of water bottles people are purchasing as well.

He's says not only have more people been purchasing cases but people are starting to buy three to four cases of water bottles each.
