Water Reuse Project Half Way Through Retesting

The emergency water reuse project is half way through it's second round of testing.
The emergency water reuse project is halfway through it's second round of testing.

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality is in town to oversee the tests.

The city already did 45 days of testing on the project but the TCEQ said they needed more data before they would agree to allow the water back into the Wichita Falls drinking supply.

This round of testing is 30 days.

Schreiber says the TCEQ has been more involved this time around and he says so far everything is going well.

If approved that water could be put back into the supply in July.
