After months in the making the report on Wichita Falls' waste water reuse project is complete.

Employees with the Public Works Department put in countless hours testing the pipeline and the water quality.

The full scale verification test lasted 40 days and was a requirement from the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, before they would allow the reuse water to be put back into Wichita Falls' drinking supply.

The report is more than five- thousand pages long and was delivered to the TCEQ by Operations Manager Daniel Nix Friday.

The TCEQ has 30 days to review the report and give the public works department the green light to start adding the recycled water back into the system.

The city hopes to be have the reuse project up and running in May.
