West Nile Spreading in Wichita Falls

A week after West Nile was confirmed in Wichita County for the first time in 3 years, health officials say the virus is spreading.
West Nile Virus has now been confirmed in three different areas in Wichita Falls.

Susan Morris with the City's General Environmental Health Office said those mosquitoes were gathered from the south, east, and central parts of town.

So far, there have been no confirmed cases of West Nile in humans in Wichita County.
