Wichita Falls health officials say a dog is in isolation after coming in contact with a skunk that tested positive for rabies.
Health officials say the skunk was found Friday morning in the Bonny Homes subdivision, off Henry S. Grace Freeway.
Test results came back this morning confirming the skunk had rabies.
Health officials say since the skunk came in contact with the dog and since the dog had just had its rabies shot earlier last week, that dog is now in isolation for the next 90 days.
This is the city's 3rd positive rabies case this year.
