With the wildfire season quickly approaching, the Wichita Falls Fire Department is offering a new program to help prepare residents.

On April 15th, 2011 a wildfire destroyed 3 homes and damaged a fourth in the Missile Road area.

That is why fire officials want to help residents prepare and protect their property through a national program called "Ready, Set, Go!"

Two free classes are scheduled for the "Ready, Set, Go" program. One is Thursday, March 21st at Cunningham Elementary School. The other is on Tuesday, March 26th at the Elks Lodge on Seymour Highway. Both classes start at 7 p.m.
