WFISD IB Students Display Their Art Work

    "Conclusions and Possibilities", that was the theme Sunday afternoon at the 10th Annual International Baccalaureate Diploma Visual Art Show. Students from Hirschi High displayed their art at the Joe Bodicus Gallery Sunday afternoon.
    "Conclusions and Possibilities", that was the theme Sunday afternoon at the 10th Annual International Baccalaureate Diploma Visual Art Show. Students from Hirschi High displayed their art at the Joe Bodicus Gallery Sunday afternoon.
    Paintings hung from the walls of the gallery displaying each of the students individual themes for their projects.. The completion of the humanities section of the IB program is just one of six the students must complete. At the end of the two year program, IB students will have 24 college credit hour making them a sophomore when entering into school.
    "If they complete the diploma they get college credit, which exempts them from having to take it in college. But some of them will go on to complete college degrees in art some of them are very gifted in art other they are going to be doctors lawyers," said Tommy Evans, IB Teacher at Hirschi High
    In total, about a dozens WFISD students showed off their portfolios.
