WFPD Says Collision Was No Accident

Wichita Falls Police say what appeared to be a collision between two cars was no accident.<br><span lang=X-NONE> <br></span>

WICHITA FALLS POLICE SAY WHAT APPEARED TO BE A COLLISION BETWEEN TWO CARS ON SEYMOUR HIGHWAY WAS NO ACCIDENT.  AND TONIGHT, 20 YEAR OLD CONNER JOHN COUGHLIN IS IN THE WICHITA COUNTY JAIL CHARGED WITH AGGRAVATED ASSAULT.
POLICE SAY THAT AROUND TWO THIS AFTERNOON, A HYUNDAI DRIVEN BY COUGHLIN HIT A MITSIBISHI ECLIPSE CAUSING IT TO SPIN NEAR THE ENTRANCE TO THE TANGLEWOOD NEIGHBORHOOD.
            ACCORDING TO POLICE AT THE SCENE, THEY WERE NOTIFIED BY A WITNESS THAT SOMEONE IN ONE OF THE CARS THREW THEIR CELL PHONE INTO THE DITCH.
    POLICE WERE ABLE TO RECOVER THAT PHONE... AND SAY IT MAY CONTAIN INFORMATION ABOUT A DRUG DEAL. POLICE SAY AN 18 YEAR OLD FEMALE PASSENGER IN THE ECLIPSE WAS TAKEN TO UNITED REGIONAL BY AMBULANCE.WITH NON-LIFE THREATENING INJURIES.
