Wichita Falls' city councilors approved moving forward with cloud seeding this past week, but they have not received as much support as they had hoped for.

The public works department asked King, Cottle, Foard, Knox, Baylor, Archer and Wichita counties to help cover the 50 thousand dollar a month price tag.

But only Wichita County has verbally committed to help out.

Monday county commissioners will be discussing going in on the cloud seeding contract and how much they will contribute.

The W T Waggoner Estate has also verbally committed but has not said how much they will be pitching in.

The Wichita County Water Improvement District number two and American Electric Power have each agreed to put 30 thousand dollars towards the project.

The 6 month contract will start on March 1st, will be suspended during July and August and will wrap up in October
