Wichita Falls Municipal Airport continues to elevate service and make flying easier for passengers.

Two months ago, American Eagle replaced the prop jets with new regional jets that provide a faster and smoother ride.

And now, facility managers are utilizing social media to keep passengers informed.

The airport recently started a Facebook page and its own website.

Managers say word is slowly but surly getting out.

"We still have about 100 friends on Facebook but it's only been about a week. Our new website... we're just trying to get the word out. There's a lot of great information about the airport, about flying, TSA, American Airlines. You can book a flight directly from the website," says LeAnn Moran, Wichita Falls Municipal Airport Administrator.

Airport officials say you can also get flight information, including any delays or cancelations.

And once construction starts on the airport's new terminal officials say officials say that information will also be available on their website and Facebook page.
