Wichita Falls Man Brings National Attention to Cause

Jim Pulley appeared on a Discovery ID show to comment on domestic violence.

A Wichita Falls man is using a tragedy in his past to bring national attention to a subject close to his heart.

Jim Pulley's mother Pat was the victim of domestic abuse, which eventually claimed her life.

Pulley wrote the book "Love, Loneliness, Abuse and Murder" about his experience.

He was contacted by Discovery Channel to appear on the show Cell Block Psychic.

In the episode, Pulley comments on a 2007 domestic violence murder of a woman in Euless, Texas.

Pulley says the episode is great for exposure, especially for those looking for information on preventing domestic abuse.

"It's just the opportunity to reach out to a bigger audience where there could be the potential for my book, or my experience, or just the 6 or 8 minutes I was in that episode," said Pulley.
