Wichita Falls Transfer Station Will Close Temporarily

The transfer station on Lawrence Road is closing so crews can repair the asphalt roadway. It's expected to being May 5th.

City officials say instead you can use the landfill while the transfer station is closed. There are no charges for citizens of the city of Wichita Falls to use the landfill.

Directions to the landfill are: take Seymour Highway Southwest toward Seymour to Highway 258, located at the Kamay “Y,” proceed West on Highway 258 toward Kamay approximately one mile to Wiley Road and turn right (North) travel two miles and you will see the entrance to the landfill.
