Four days after Wilbarger General Hospital's CEO resigned, a hospital official says the hospital board has found a replacement.

Kathy McClellan, Wilbarger General's director of communications, says Carey Plummer, of Ohio, accepted the position Wednesday. And, we've learned he retired three months ago as president and CEO of a rural health care facility in Jersey Shore, Pennsylvania. Plummer is expected to replace Jonathon Voelkel who had been CEO at Wilbarger General since 2006.

Over the past few years, the hospital endured substantial financial losses. Monday night, Voelkel turned in his resignation.

The hospital board is expected to vote on Carey Plummer becoming the new CEO next week during a board meeting.
