Woman Gets Deferred Adjudication, Fine for Sexual Assault

Charmaine Beaver was sentenced to seven years deferred adjudication for sexual assault.
    A Wichita Falls woman is sentenced for sexually assaulting a 16-year-old girl.
    Twenty-five year-old Charmaine Beaver is sentenced to seven years of deferred adjudication and will also have to pay a $750 fine.
    An arrest affidavit states the mother of the teenager told police she thought her daughter was involved in an inappropriate relationship with Beaver.
    When interviewed by authorities, both Beaver and the teen confirmed the suspicions.
    During the interview, police say Beaver told them she knew what she did was wrong.
