Woman Gets Six Years in Prison for Meth Charges

Susan Choate is sentenced to six years in prison.

A Wichita Falls woman now knows her punishment after pleaing to two charges relating to the possession of meth.

Thirty-seven year-old Susan Choate is sentenced to six years in prison for the charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession or transport of chemicals with the intent to manufacture.

Authorities say in March 2011, deputies went to serve some bond forfeiture warrants to Choate in the 47-hundred block of Jacksboro Highway when they smelled a strong odor of ether, so they called for back-up and a search warrant was served.

They say at least 26-hundred grams of liquid meth and various chemicals used to manufacture meth were seized from the home.

In a separate incident, authorities say Choate was seen leaving the same residence, and she was pulled over for speeding.

Court documents state Choate was found with Alfredo sauce all over her fingers.

And when officers looked in the chicken Alfredo container, they found rocks of meth stuffed in the food.
