Woman Guilty of Greenbriar Walmart Robbery

Lonisha Jones was found guilty on one count of robbery.
A Wichita Falls woman is convicted of assaulting Walmart loss prevention officers who were trying to stop her from stealing from the store on Greenbriar.

Lonisha Jones was found guilty on one count of robbery.

She's sentenced to eight years probation.

Police say Jones was trying to shoplift last November and when the loss prevention officers approached her, she assaulted them and drove off.

Her car was later stopped on Maplewood and she was arrested.

Jones has multiple other theft charges and convictions including in North Richland Hills and Tarrant and Dallas counties.

She's expected to serve a six month jail sentence for being convicted on two charges out of Tarrant County.
