Woman Leads Multiple Law Enforcement Agencies on Pursuit

An over 15-mile car chase spans from Clay County to Wichita Falls' northern city limits.
A DPS trooper gets help from city police and sheriff's deputies, and spike strips, in stopping an erratic driver who led officers on a pursuit from Jolly to just north of the Wichita Falls city limits.

DPS officials say the chase started in Clay County, east of Jolly, and finally came to a stop at the Bacon Switch Road exit of I-44 around 3:30 this afternoon.

According to DPS Spokesman Tony Fulton, the woman didn't pull over when the trooper turned on his emergency lights and siren.  Officers put spike strips on I-44 near Missile Road, and when her front tires blew out, she pulled off on the Bacon Switch exit.

The woman was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and officials say she did not have a driver's license.
