Woman Sentenced for Making Meth in Wichita Falls Home

Candace Sternadel is sentenced to 10 years in prison.
An Archer City woman is sentenced in 30th District Court to 10 years in prison after being found guilty of making meth inside a Wichita Falls home.

Thirty-five year-old Candace Lynn Sternadel was found guilty of manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance more than 400 grams.

Wichita County deputies say on Jan. 4, 2012, they were serving a parole violation warrant on another person.

When they arrived at the house in the 23-hundred block of Kings Highway, they detected a strong odor of ether.

They say when Sternadel opened the door, the odor became stronger and they detained her.

Deputies say they found a jug of what was believed to be liquid meth and other ingredients used to make meth and called the house "an active meth lab."
