Forty-four year-old Thomas Bohmert, who has a record of burglary and theft, was found guilty of burglary of a habitation.

He's sentenced to 25 years in prison.

Court records state after speaking with the contractors, the victim learned Bohmert was left alone at her home.

The stolen jewelry was found at a local cash for gold business.

The sales ticket showed Bohmert had sold the jewelry.
