Wichita Falls isn't home to this years Olympics but it doesn't stop our athletes here in Texoma from competing.
And today at the the Gymnastics Sports Center young Olympic hopefuls did just that.
The 110th gymnastics expo kicked off with its own lighting of the torch.
Then young gymnasts showcased their skills to friends and family by bouncing on the trampoline, swinging on the bars, and showing off their hand stands.
While these games were not in London coordinators say the emotions are the same.
"They see the Olympian's on TV and they know how exciting that is so they are as exciting to be here probably as those Olympian's are in London. And it's funny too because you watch the parents and they are just as excited, maybe even more nervous then the children," said Gymnastics Sports Center Owner, Joseph Cronin.
Today's expo wrapped up in true Olympic fashion with the best competitors receiving ribbons for their performance.
