People in Henrietta were moving and grooving to some of today's top hits at the Rock Barn Saturday afternoon.

And while they danced and burned off some calories they were also raising money for a local family who recently lost their young daughter after her fourth open heart surgery.

Jurni Flickinger was born with a congenital heart defect and was just ten years old when she passed away last month.

Flickinger loved to dance and held a Zumbathon before her surgery to raise money for her medical expenses.

Saturday's Zumbathon will continue to help the family with their remaining costs.

Jurni's mom says she is overwhelmed by the support the community has given her family and she is till very proud of her daughter.

“It's good to see this many people that she touched, it's amazing,” says Jurni's Mom Carrie Flickinger.

Organizers asked attendees to make a $15 donation for the family at the door.
