Long before Zundy was an elementary school, David Taylor Taylor walked the halls.
But those days are long gone and now David lives across the street from his old stomping grounds, a school which has a long heritage in his family.
"My kids, my two daughters, both of the come here to Zundy and there in high school. It's been pretty nice," said David Taylor, this week's Pay It Forward winner.
In honor of all the hours David spent inside the walls at Zundy Jr. High he wanted to use the money to help out a teacher.
And with a little help from the junior high turned elementary school's principal, David was able find a teacher who just began her career as a full-time educator.
"It will help me get things ready for my new adventure here at Zundy as an RTI teacher, I can buy more supplies for my students," said Teresa Armstrong, a full time teacher at Zundy Elementary
But, the money will not only help Teresa be a better teacher, it will help her support her family.
"I have two children so, get them more supplies and clothes they might need...just...I'm a single mother so it will be a huge help," said Teresa
Teresa has two boys, one is a junior at Hirschi High, the other just getting started in school at Head Start.
And thanks to David all of them will be a little better off as they start the school year.
