This year's Falls Fest has a lot of changes taking place after inclement weather forecasted for this weekend forced organizers to change venues from Lucy Park to the MPEC but organizers say the annual event will go on as planned.
Falls Fest kicked off at 5 p.m. on Friday and people could not be more excited about one of Texoma's most popular events.
Friday showcase lots of food, live music including Crosswind, Mullet Boyz and the headliner, The Casey Donahew Band.
However, for visitors like Larry Hilliard, the change in venue hasn't stopped the fun but he wishes it was held Lucy Park, rain or shine.
"Looking forward to not only to revisiting Lucy Park, some memories from way back but just also an outdoor festival is always fun," Hilliard says. "It's harder to do. The music is harder but it's just a lot of fun to see the people circulating, at least they kept this part outdoors and that's nice."
Falls Fest will open on Saturday from 11 a.m. until 11 p.m. and will cost $8 before 5 p.m. at the gate and $10 afterward.
Children 11 and under are free.
Estilo Tejano and Twicebroken will open for the Marshall Tucker Band inside of Kay Yeager Coliseum on Saturday night.
Organizers say there is plenty of parking for free parking for those in attendance.
