It's the day before Christmas and all throughout the stores last minute shoppers were hustling and bustling with no time to be bored.

At stores, like Target, shoppers were busy searching for last minute items to put in stockings or under the Christmas.

Whether toys, electronics or clothes, customers browsed for that special gift for the special people in their lives.

Some simply put off the inevitable until they had no other choice but head to stores and shop. But others, like Lara Williams, say work and a little one made it too difficult to shop, until now.

"Here at the end of the year it got really busy and when you come home you've got an eight month old who's ready to eat and then ready to go to bed. So, when?  There was no time to do it, says Lara Williams.

Williams says shopping for a baby is easier because they are not aware of what's being put in the basket.

In additional to department stores, grocery stores were also swamped today with customers getting last minute items to cook Christmas dinner.
