New "Cops and Robbers 5K Pursuit" Will Bring Fun to Exercise

If you're looking for another great way to stay in shape, or just have a great time, there's a first- ever event coming up this fall to tell you about.

The Crime Stoppers Cops and Robbers 5k Pursuit will happen in the streets and alleys of downtown Wichita Falls.

Participants of the walk / run will have the opportunity to dress up as their favorite "cop" or "robber", and then have a great time supporting the crime fighting efforts of Crime Stoppers.

The 5k Pursuit is scheduled for Saturday, Nov 9th.

Registration begins at 8:30, and the event kicks off at 10 at the MPEC.

On-site registration will be $40.

But, pre-registration cost for "cops" or "robbers", ages 13 and over is $30.

Active military and veterans are $25.

Kids 5k or 1m, ages 6- to 12, are $20- dollars, while kids under the age of 6 are free.

All of those who pre- register can expect a free t-shirt.

That's not guaranteed for late / race day registration.

If you're interested, on- line registration ends October 13th.

Remember, costumes are encouraged!
