It's finally official. "Saturday Night Live's Weekend Update" host Seth Meyers has landed another desk job as the new host of "Late Night."

"Since 1982, there have been three "Late Night" hosts starting with David Letterman, and Seth couldn't be in better company," Lorne Michaels, Executive Producer of "Late Night," said of the new host.

Replacing Jimmy Fallon who will begin hosting the "Tonight Show" in 2014, Meyers, 39, said of the opportunity, "I only have to work for Lorne for five more years before I pay him back for the time I totaled his car. 12:30 on NBC has long been incredible real estate. I hope I can do it justice."
