Team of the Week Oct. 18, Rider Football

THE RIDER RAIDERS FOOTBALL TEAM HAS HAD THIER SHARE OF BAD LUCK THIS SEASON...JUST LAST WEEK THEY LOST THEIR STAR QUARTERBACK, ALONG WITH THEIR STAR SAFETY, BOTH TO TORN ACL'S.  BUT IN FOOTBALL YOU CAN'T JUST PACK IT IN WHEN SOMEBODY GOES DOWN...AND OUR TEAM OF THE WEEK PROVED THAT EVEN IF YOU ARE DOWN....THAT DOESN'T MEAN YOU'RE OUT.

IN THEIR FIRST GAME WITHOUT STARTING QUARTERBACK J.T. BARRETT AND STARTING DEFENSIVE BACK MASON STONE, THE RAIDERS WENT INTO HOSTILE TERRITORY AND BEAT A TOUGH LAKE DALLAS TEAM IN A KEY DISTRICT GAME. THIS WEEK THEY TAKE ON AZLE...TRYING TO KEEP THEIR HOPES OF AN UNDEFEATED DISTRICT SEASON ALIVE.
