Texoma's Saturday Evening Forecast: July 20, 2013

Texoma Community Credit Union Forecast

Forecast Discussion

A few showers and thunderstorms will be scattered around
eastern and southern Texoma this afternoon and early evening.
These storms will dissipate once the sun goes down.

Another batch of showers in thunderstorms in northwest OK
associated with a stalled out front and weak low pressure
will try to inch south this evening. They may hold together
and impact our northern counties. The better chances would be
from Childress, Altus, and Lawton. However, the majority of
this activity will likely stay north and lose intensity after
sunset.

High pressure will build back over Texoma this week, spelling
hotter and drier weather. Recent rains will make for higher
moisture content in the air. Heat index values will run high
for the next few days.
