Thanksgiving Travel Looking Grim

Thanksgiving travel and wintry weather are on a collision course this year.
(NBC News) Winter weather is on a collision course with the busiest days of the holiday travel season.

It's already walloped parts of Oklahoma and Arkansas and led to the cancellation of nearly a thousand flights in Dallas.

With storms moving up and down the east coast, travelers are keeping a close eye on conditions.

Three million people are expected to move through the nation's airports this week, with Wednesday and Sunday ranking as the busiest days, and of the 43-million traveling in the next few days, 90 percent will be driving.
