Wichita Falls police arrest a driver involved in an early morning hit and run accident.
Wichita Falls Police follow a trail of liquid from an accident scene and arrest an alleged drunk driver involved in an early morning hit and run.

It happened around 2:30 a.m. on Seymour Highway near Brook.

Police say a pickup was hit by a car going the wrong way and the driver of that car, a 2012 Chrysler, left the scene of the crash.

Officers followed the trail of fluid leaking from the car down Seymour Highway, through Lucy Park, and back onto Seymour Highway.

Police finally located the car parked at an RV park on Seymour Highway and arrested the driver.

Friends of the truck driver say he was treated and released from the hospital.

A blood test warrant was issued for 28-year-old Christopher Oliver.

He is facing charges of driving while intoxicated and failure to render aid.

Bond has not been set at this time.
