Wichita Falls city officials say they want to make sure people know the
city and the police department have been cooperating in the
investigation into June's traffic fatality involving a city police
This as councilors are getting ready for Tuesday's vote on a
possible half- a - million dollar settlement for the families of two
teenage girls -- and an unborn child -- killed in June's car crash
involving Officer Teddie Whitefield.
Mayor Glenn Barham says whenever the city or the P.D. is asked for information, they provide it as quickly as possible.
In August, Officer Whitefield was suspended from the police department indefinitely -- without pay.
