Nick Farmer scored less than a minute into the game, but it was not enough to keep the Wichita Falls Wildcats from dropping a 3-2 decision to the Amarillo Bulls at the Kay Yeager Coliseum Friday night. With the loss, the Wildcats were eliminated from the 2014 Robertson Cup playoffs.

This morning at Holliday High School, Eagles baseball player Brandon Wright signed to play at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. Wright will play catcher for the Crusaders which is an NCAA Division III school in Belton. Brandon was named all district in 2012 and was the district's offensive MVP in 2013. Wright picked up all state honors as a catcher from two different organizations last season.
