As the country heads to the polls Tuesday one issue on the ballot in Young County is still stirring up some controversy.
The Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission is considering a proposal that would allow alcohol to be served at gun shows in Texas.
Texas could start allowing alcohol sales at gun shows provided they don't allow live ammunition or let buyers take possession of their weapons at the events.
The Las Vegas Club, located in the 300 block of N. Scott, has been operating under a pending liquor license for nearly two years.
It's now been over a year and nine months since the liquor license for the Las Vegas Club on North Scott expired.

The City of Wichita Falls is backing the Texas Alcohol and Beverage Commission in trying to revoke the liquor license of a Wichita Falls night club. City Councillors made that decision at their meeting this morning. A local TABC agent found there was a higher than normal number of police calls to the Las Vegas Club on North Scott, so TABC filed the protest of renewal and asked the City of Wichita Falls to join.
