The storm system that brought on the rain and ice is racing off to the East, leaving in its wake chilly, but nice conditions.
Upper low continues to lift from West TX this afternoon with wintry precip continuing north of Texoma.
Rain this morning will give way to high temps in the upper 30's this afternoon
A mild and mostly dry week is epxected with northwest flow across the area in the upper atmosphere.
After a cool weekend, we look for a slow warmup to start the work week.

Groundhog Day should be unusually warm with increasing clouds. Late in the afternoon showers and t-storms could erupt in our far western counties but all of us should see storms, possibly SEVERE overnight into Friday. ~ Met. Bryan Rupp.
